US Firms Add 155,000 Jobs in ADP Data, More Than Forecast
Hiring at US companies accelerated last month, rebounding from a weak February marked by severe weather in some regions of the country.
Private-sector payrolls increased by 155,000 in March, according to ADP Research.

ECB Still Has Some Work to Do on Prices, Lagarde Tells Newstalk
The European Central Bank’s fight against inflation isn’t yet over, even as price growth approaches the 2% goal, according to President Christine Lagarde.
“We are now very close to target, so the disinflationary process is well underway,” Lagarde told Irish radio station Newstalk in an interview.

BOJ’s Ueda Says US Tariffs Could Have Big Impact on Global Trade
Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda said US tariffs could have a significant impact on trade activity in affected nations, although for now the overall picture of the policies remains unclear ahead of an official announcement later in the global day.
“Depending on the size and area of the tariffs, it’s possible they’ll have a large impact on trade activities among nations,” Ueda said in response to questions in parliament Wednesday.
